A results-oriented expert on high-end real estate development, Kenneth A. Baboun (NMLS #1038435) began his extensive career in finance in the Dominican Republic, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer for a global clothing manufacturer. A native of Mexico, Mr. Baboun relocated to Miami in 2003 to establish BBB Group, a real estate development firm. As President, Baboun managed the execution of all BBB Group development projects, including a 49-story luxury high-rise in Miami’s booming financial district. Over the course of his career, he has served as Chief Executive Officer of Brickell Plaza Development and as Vice President of Development for the Newgard Development Group, where he oversaw engineers, architects and consultants, evaluated costs, investments and performance indicators, and tracked progress on multi-million dollar development projects.
In 2017, Mr. Baboun founded BGI Capital (NMLS #1711349) in collaboration with international finance and banking expert Robert Barthelmess. As Managing Partner, Mr. Baboun oversees the real estate development and commercial finance aspects of BGI Capital. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Bentley College in Massachusetts and is the 2005 recipient of the Visionary Award from the Developers & Builders Alliance in Miami, Florida.
